Our client:
The Freundeskreis Lichtentaler Allee in Baden-Baden is an association dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of the Lichtentaler Allee. Lichtentaler Allee is a popular promenade in the heart of Baden-Baden, surrounded by culturally and historically significant buildings and known for its many old trees and picturesque walkways. The members of the Friends are committed in many ways to the preservation of this valuable piece of nature. They regularly organize clean-up events, collect donations for park maintenance, and work to protect the flora and fauna. The association works closely with the Baden-Baden city administration to ensure that Lichtentaler Allee remains a place for recreation and nature conservation in the future.
Our Mission:
In cooperation with the chairman of the Freundeskreis Lichtentaler Allee e.V. Prof. Hans-Peter Mengele we created a more innovative, digital and mobile version based on the old audio guide.
We redesigned and implemented the audio guide based on WordPress. In this process we created a clear map with animated stations, which simplifies navigation. In addition to the audio guide, the site also contains images and texts for each location with which information can be read.
The audio guide can be accessed at various stations in the park by scanning a QR code with a smartphone and provides a wealth of interesting information about the different sections of the park, incl. significant buildings, sculptures and artworks. The content is available in four languages, allowing visitors from different countries to explore the park at their own pace.
