EGM relaunch with animated graphics and interactive image map

EGM Entsorgungsgesellschaft Mainz mbH presents itself in new splendor.
Together with EGM, we have given the website of the waste-to-energy plant a comprehensive redesign, which is based on the clear and functional design of Kraftwerke Mainz-Wiesbaden AG (KMW).

For the redesign, we opted for a design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. A central element of the new website is the interactive image map, which we conceived, designed and technically implemented.
This map gives visitors an intuitive and detailed insight into the processes of the waste-to-energy plant: clickable points lead to short video sequences animated by us, which clearly explain individual process steps. This turns a complex topic into an understandable and exciting digital experience - and increases user loyalty in the long term.

The new website is complemented by professional photographs provided by EGM. They show the waste-to-energy plant in its full dimensions and convey authentic impressions of the operation.

Special attention was also paid to the accessibility of the site. Thanks to optimized contrasts, keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility, the new website enables unrestricted access for all users.
