Full steam ahead at BAUMA: our trade fair stand project for GMT

When things get big, they get exciting - and that's exactly what we love! For our client GMT Gummi-Metall-Technik, we were able to provide creative and organizational support for their trade fair appearance at BAUMA 2025 in Munich. And at the world's largest trade fair for construction and mining machinery, it's okay to think a little bigger.

Design meets technology

Our task: conception, design and realization of a modern trade fair stand that not only shines in the new corporate design, but also impresses in terms of content. To achieve this, we worked closely with the stand builder and the display supplier to create a well-rounded overall picture - well thought-out, precise, from a single source.

Three films, one common thread

The centerpiece of the stand: three portrait-format XXL displays on which we were able to stage tailor-made content. 

We designed and produced three films for this space, each focusing on a central theme of GMT: 

  1. Material - What sets GMT apart starts with the materials.
  2. Development - From the idea to the solution: Engineering at its best.
  3.  Worldwide - Why GMT is at the forefront on the global stage.

And now comes the highlight:

The construction machine drives through all three displays.

As a connecting element and real highlight, an animated construction machine rolls through all three displays - synchronized, fluid and quite impressive. A real eye-catcher.

 

Cross-media trade fair communication

But a strong presence doesn't just start at the trade fair - it starts beforehand. To build excitement and generate visibility, we designed and produced teaser videos for GMT, which were played out specifically on LinkedIn - the primary social media platform used. The short clips provided initial insights, aroused curiosity and brought the topic of the trade fair to the network in good time.

We also designed email banners that were used by employees in advance in their digital communication - as an unobtrusive reminder, an invitation and a visual symbol: GMT is ready for the big entrance.

Our conclusion:

Trade fair communication works best when design, technology and storytelling go hand in hand. This is exactly what we were able to realize for GMT in this project - from the first LinkedIn post to the last trade fair visit. And we are delighted to have been a part of this powerful presence on the international stage.
